Grand Hotel Minerva is situated in the heart of Florence, in piazza Santa Maria Novella. All the most important monuments and the famous shopping areas, the central train station S.M. Novella and the congress centre are all reachable by foot.
The Hotel boasts 102 rooms very welcoming, luminous and tastefully furnished, offering a view on the entire Piazza Santa Maria Novella or on the interior garden.
“I Chiostri” Restaurant, spacious, decorated with beautiful paintings and illuminated by wide windows, offers the best dishes of the Mediterranean and Tuscan tradition reinterpreted by the skilful touch of the Chef and prepared employing modern cooking techniques than maintain and exalt the flavours of the used ingredients.
At the 5th floor a delightful surprise welcomes all Guests: the wonderful panoramic terrace from which you can enjoy one of the most beautiful view in the world. The façade of the Church Santa Maria Novella, the Duomo, the Campanile of Giotto, Palazzo Vecchio will be just a few steps away for enjoying a breathtaking 360° view. The wide panoramic terrace boasts a wonderful pool open all week round, from April until September, from 9 am until 12 pm. The terrace is equipped with comfortable sun beds that are at our kind guests disposal for a “bit of tan” with a view over Florence’s roofs.
